CR450 780DP Galvanized Steel for Heavy Industry Structures
CR450/780DP galvanized steel is a cold-rolled dual-phase high-strength galvanized steel product of Nature Steel. Classified as Advanced High-Strength Steel (AHSS), it features a ferrite-martensite dual-phase matrix with a hot-dip galvanized coating on both sides. With core advantages of high tensile strength, high fatigue resistance, excellent corrosion resistance and good formability, it has become the preferred material for heavy industrial structures including supports, load-bearing parts and protective components. It balances structural stability and service life, meets stringent global heavy industrial requirements, and helps customers reduce costs, improve efficiency and enhance engineering safety.
Yield strength: 450–550 MPa; tensile strength: ≥780 MPa, far exceeding conventional structural steels such as Q235 and Q345.
High energy absorption: Low yield-to-tensile ratio (≤0.65) and high work-hardening exponent enable continuous hardening under impact or dynamic loads, effectively absorbing energy and ensuring structural safety.
Lightweight potential: 15–25% weight reduction at equal strength, lowering self-weight of heavy equipment to improve operational efficiency and fuel economy.
Excellent corrosion resistance for harsh environments
Hot-dip zinc coating (+Z): Coating thickness ≥30 μm provides cathodic protection against atmospheric, humid and industrial exhaust corrosion, suitable for outdoor heavy structures such as transmission towers, bridge supports and port machinery.
Long-term protection: Neutral salt spray test (NSS) performance exceeds 800 hours, significantly extending service life and reducing maintenance costs.
